SIPP Repairs (Process and Equipment)
Spray in Place Pipe (SIPP) Repairs with EA Services Inc. is a groundbreaking integration of ingenuity and professionalism, offering solutions to pipeline repair needs like never before. The SIPP process incorporates innovative robotic lining in In-Situ Pipes, eliminating the need for the removal and Replace method of pipeline repair. Spray in Place Pipe Services eliminates this costly, labor intensive and potentially hazardous process. SIPP Solutions also serve as preventative fortification of new pipe installation.
SIPP Repairs Process
The Spray in Place Pipe Repairs process begins with damaged In-Situ (existing in original location) pipes in need of service. The SIPP process follows with a custom chosen robotic lining apparatus, depending on pipeline and industry specifications. The repairs are managed from a robotic management and manipulation control technology in a mobile unit set up, known as a MRV (Mobile Robotic Vehicle). SAT LINK transmitters allow the SIPP Process to be viewed in real time by EA Services Inc. engineers and customers/clients alike, from the MRV or from any computer. Real time trouble-shooting also becomes a reality with the Mobile Robotic Vehicle technologies.
Spray in Place Pipe Repairs offers solutions to a wide range of industries. Based on industry specifications, a rotational grouting apparatus travels throughout the pipeline in need of repair or fortification. Once the apparatus passes, the grouting substance leaves newly built, smooth pipe walls or freshly fortified piping ready for installation.
Spray in Place Pipe Solutions offer the ability to navigate multiple pipe convolutions and arrest deterioration from extremely aggressive effluents, microbiological—sulfur reducing bacteria oxidation—reduction and erosion. In addition, SIPP spans large cracks, perforations and joint separations and accommodates for high heat, saturated steam, chemical and abrasion resistance.

The MRV is enabled with SAT LINK transmitters allowing the entire SIPP Process to be viewed remotely and in real time by EA Services Inc. engineers and customers/clients alike, from the MRV or from any computer. Real time trouble-shooting also becomes a reality with the Mobile Robotic Vehicle technologies.
Exemplary Lining Apparatuses
Micro Robotic Lining Apparatuses (MRLA’s) – Designed specifically for pipelines having diameters between 1” and 10”, MRLA’s bring the SIPP process to commercial building, water and steam piping, heat exchangers, fire depression/deluge systems and any number of small diameter piping or tubing configurations.
Small Diameter Robotic Lining Apparatuses (SRLA’s) – Designed for pipeline specifications of 5” and greater, the SRLA is designed to line profiles perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pipe, all while never forfeiting the consistency of the liner thickness. SRLA’s bring innovative pipeline repairs with SIPP, servicing pipes that, until now, could only be removed and replaced.
Large Diameter Lining Apparatus (LDLA) – The LDLA device was originally designed for use in corrugated pipes, RCP and/or large diameter carbon steel pipes. Unprecedented “pendulum oscillation’ and articulating dispersion technology takes shape to manipulate centrifugal patterns, leaving an end product with consistent liner thickness circumferentially up to 4” thick in one robotic pass. This Spray in Place Pipe process exceeds expectations with unwavering consistency, regardless of pipeline environment irregularities.
